The Problem

Redesign Bell, a Canadian telecommunications company.

The focus is on the logo and use of new logo on various advertising pieces.

 

The Process

I went through the entire design process, from thumbs, to roughs, with critiques in between every part. Bell's old logo was outdated and boring. I aimed to create a logo that was "delightful" (what Bell claims to be). I wanted the new logo to look as if it was vibrating or making a "ding" sound, playing off the bell origins of their first ever logo. The waves that give it movement also symbolize wifi and connectedness. The shape inside the b is actually a speech bubble to represent communications.
